Who we are

The apps covered by this policy are published by Basje Tech, the technology division of Basje Innovations, headquartered at Av. Mungwalu, Bunia, Ituri, Democratic Republic of the Congo (“Basje Tech”, “we”). Basje Tech designs, publishes, and maintains apps for the Basje Innovations group, including apps operated by other divisions such as Basje.Net, an Internet service provider. Basje Innovations is responsible for processing personal data collected by these apps.

Scope

This policy applies to every mobile app Basje Tech publishes on Google Play or another platform, as well as the online services associated with them. Each app is described below, along with the data it collects and how that data is used. The general rules on sharing, security, retention, and rights apply to all our apps.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
• We do not collect data that is unnecessary to operate our apps.

Data sharing

Data collected by our apps may be shared only with:

• Authorized Basje Innovations teams: Basje Tech for technical operation of the apps, and the division operating the relevant service (for example, Basje.Net for Basje.Net POS) to manage its agents, inventory, and sales.
• Our technical providers (hosting and infrastructure), who act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.
• Competent authorities, when required by law or to assert our rights.

Security

All communications between our apps and servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are never stored in plain text. Data access is limited to people who need it for their work. No measure can guarantee absolute security; if an incident affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

Retention and deletion

• Account data: while the account is active, then for 12 months after it is deactivated or deleted.
• Transaction and sales data: for the period required by our accounting and tax obligations, which is 10 years.
• Technical logs: no more than 12 months.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under applicable regulations, you may request access to your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. To delete your account and associated data, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account and specify the app. Some transaction data may be retained after an account is deleted when required by law, including for accounting purposes. It is limited to what is strictly necessary. We respond to every request within 30 days.

Children

Our current apps are for adult professionals. They are not intended for children and do not knowingly collect data about minors.

Changes

We update this policy when we publish a new app or change how an app processes data. The current version is the one published on this page. If a change is significant, affected users will be notified in the app or by email.
